Stuffy nose, runny nose, sore throat, feeling weak, mucous in nose and chest, sneezing, occasional unproductive painful cough. I couldn't breathe through my nose, I haven't slept more than 2 hours in a row the last two nights because my mouth was so dry and my throat was so sore from breathing through my nose. At 2:45 a.m. this morning I took a 3 tsp dose of this. It is now 7:45 a.m. I slept a full 5 hours and I feel better, I can breathe through my nose, my throat is not sore, I have a very productive cough now. I would recommend this medicine for any age, most medicines make me drowsy or just feel funny, this one does not. It tastes good, has no side effects, and didn't affect my high blood pressure. Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Never missing from my cupboard..., This review is from: Hyland's Cold 'n Cough 4 Kids -- 4 fl oz (Health and Beauty) I started using this product a year ago for my 2yr old when he had a bad chest cold and was told the same old "humidifier and saline suction is all you can do" I already try to keep thing organic and homeopathic in my house so finding hylands products that are safe for children at age 2 was a great find for me... although a comment post about it saftey on a prior review is just one opinion .. any and all products natural or not run a risk of side effects or allergies so it is our job as a parent to always use caution.. That being said I am very happy with this product .. no it isn't an instant fix but neither is the chemical filled ovc syrups. My 3yr takes this happily telling me it taste yummy which is a win in itself ... nothings worse than fighting your already sick child to try and take something to help them...I am happy with this product and its effectiveness and my son has had no side effects from this product I plan on getting hyland products for myself to see how they work... I was hoping this product would help my son's cough go away, but it didn't. It did help it subside for a little while, but then the cough would come back. However, I felt better being able to give him something for it. Since he is under 2, I can't give him normal cough medicine so being able to give him this made me feel like I was doing something to help, which it did. |
